Revolutionary All-in-One System for Phones, PC Network, and Team Productivity for Small Businesses Now Available in Western Region
Rochester, NY company establishes local office

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 14, 2003 - An all-in-one-system designed to transform IT-intensive, big-business technology into a cost-effective solution for small- and medium-sized businesses is now available in the Western states, it was announced today by InSciTek Microsystems, Inc., founder of Allworx® 10x (www.allworx.com).

InSciTek, headquartered in Rochester, NY, has opened an office in San Jose, California to enlist and support value-added-resellers (VARs) and service providers who in turn will carry the Allworx solution in the states of California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Idaho.

The expansion is a continuation of InSciTek''s strategy to methodically roll out the solution and accompanying support throughout the United States. The company already has successfully established VARs and service providers in the Northeast and Southeast United States, and Canada. It is currently seeking out additional qualified resellers and VARs in New England and the Mid Atlantic.

"Small businesses are fueling America''s economy, and they require the same communication and data networking capabilities as big businesses in order to be competitive. But the cost and complexity associated with these capabilities have placed them out of reach of small businesses in the past," said George E. Daddis Jr., CEO and president of InSciTek. "Allworx gives small businesses sophisticated phone, PC network, and team productivity tools within a single plug-and-play solution that can be installed as easily as a PC."

For the cost of the Allworx base system, a customer gets a phone system, PC network, and software for each user, including calendaring, email, voicemail, unified messaging, and group collaboration tools. Customers simply select their phones and then choose from a series of system options like remote access capability and power backup. Allworx was designed to eliminate the price and complexity barriers from the purchase, installation, management and use of infrastructure technology. Simultaneously, Allworx was designed to improve employee productivity, system reliability, and customer communications-all at a 50% cost savings over multi-piece, separate-unit systems.

Joe A. Santos will lead the development of the market in the West. Santos has more than 20 years of experience in building sales teams and developing growth markets worldwide. In his last position, Santos led a sales team selling WAN access equipment to service providers, VARs, and enterprises. In his new position with InSciTek, Santos is responsible for recruiting Allworx resellers, developing end-user opportunities, and establishing awareness for the Allworx product family in the West.

"Allworx gives small businesses an unprecedented opportunity to gain the big business tools they need to be competitive and to grow," said Santos. "And it gives service providers and resellers a new solution to sell to the growing small business market. The convergence of voice and data within Allworx also will give both data and voice resellers an opportunity to cross over and provide a complete solution into the SMB solutions market."
