EAST ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 19, 2008 — Allworx, the small and medium business phone and network solutions company, today announced it has expanded its product portfolio with the Allworx Px 6/2 Expander – a simple, seamless solution for quickly expanding the traditional telephone line capacity for rapidly growing small and medium businesses. The Allworx Px 6/2 Expander adds analog line and station capacity to support additional phone, fax, or extensions to any Allworx system.

The Allworx Px 6/2 Expander provides 6 analog loop-start FXO ports for connectivity to any central office PSTN service and 2 analog FXS ports for supporting analog phones or fax machines. Up to three Allworx Px 6/2 Expanders can be used concurrently to expand the capacity of the 6x, 10x and 24x allowing for an additional 18 central office lines per system.
