EAST ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 1, 2008 — TelePacific Communications, a leading provider of business telecommunications solutions with headquarters in California , announced today an extension to its SIP based product line, SmartVoice. TelePacific has been offering customers SIP based trunking services since February 2007. The product extension to the SmartVoice services will offer a direct SIP network connection directly to the customer's IP PBX.
Current SmartVoice SIP trunk services provide traditional PRI and CAS network connections. With the new SIP handoff, customers will be able to plug the circuit directly into their SIP-enabled PBX, thus avoiding the need for additional capital expenditures.

TelePacific installed their first SIP Network Connection service in partnership with Allworx, the small business phone and network solutions company. Allworx' award winning portfolio of SMB products, for companies up to 100 users per site, includes the award-winning 24x, 10x, and 6x VoIP communications systems, as well their award-winning 9100 and 9200 IP phone series w ith traditional key or PBX system functionality and a series of software options - Call Assistant, Call Queuing, Conference Center, VPN, etc.).
