This Windows PC-based tool, fully integrated with Allworx VoIP phones is designed to bring ease and efficiency to the operator/receptionist tasks. The new Call Assistant 2.1 version allows users the ability to record all incoming and outgoing calls with the click of a button and dial directly from the Call Assistant application via their desktop. Also included is the new Call History tab located in the Switchboard section. This tab displays all incoming and outgoing calls that have been dialed and received by the user. Call Assistant also provides enhanced views of the company directory and auto attendant status, parked calls, call queues and call monitors. Users can transfer callers between any one of these views via their desktop.
A system software option that allows a small business to have the benefits of group and individual calendaring without the expense of similar products (e.g. MS Exchange). The Allworx 6x supports 2 analog phones via the two (2) standard FXS ports and can be extended to accommodate up to sixty (60) analog phones with third-party FXS expansion units. The Allworx 10x supports up to 13 analog phones via the seven (7) standard FXS ports and six (6) dual-mode FXO-FXS ports. Expandable up to thirty two (32) analog handsets with third-party FXS expansion units. The Allworx 24x supports 5 analog phones via the five (5) standard FXS ports and can be extended to accommodate up to twenty nine (29) analog phones with third-party FXS expansion units. The Allworx 6x comes standard with six (6) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to thirty (30) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations. The Allworx 10x comes standard with nine (9) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to thirty three (33) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations. The Allworx 24x comes standard with three (3) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to twenty seven (27) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations. The Allworx 6x has a Compact Flash Slot that accepts Type I or Type II Compact Flash Cards. The system comes with a 256MB flash card which allows you to store your voicemail and system settings. The Allworx 6x offers an external hard disk to provide you with more storage to manage your voicemail and email. The hard disk is required for the Group Calendaring application. Allworx is compatible with various inline (Power over Ethernet – POE) switches. These switches provide power to your VoIP phones over the network. This eliminates the need for bulky power adapters for every phone. The switch connects to the Allworx system through the 10/100 Ethernet port or a network switch. This software option activates the ability within the Allworx 10x to send voice out over the Internet. This option is required for site-to-site operation or remote user or connecting with an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider). With a standard CD player, your callers will hear the music and messages you've selected when they are put on "Hold." You get the highest quality sound and easy-to-use CD features. Mix and match from a wide range VoIP and analog phones including Allworx phones designed specifically for the Allworx systems. Allworx recommends connecting Allworx systems, workstations, heavily configured computers and servers to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to protect your entire network from power surges and failure. Depending on the number of network devices you want to connect to the Allworx 10x, you can choose to from an 8-port, 16-port, or even 24-port switch. You would select this option if you have remote users who need to access the data network remotely (e.g. working from home). |
