Must be 5 digits in length. Length is not adjustable.
| What is involved in the setup and use of Audit PIN Codes? |
Create the PIN Code on the Phone System > Audit PIN Codes page:
- Force users to use PIN Codes when seizing outside lines by configuring their handset's Seizing Rule via the Phone System > Handset s > Modify page.
- Define which outside line Service Groups are to be used when calls are placed using PIN C od es. This is done via the Phone System > Dial Plan page.
- Place a call from a handset by dialing 78 + P IN Code + Phone Number. For Example, when calling "555-1212" using PIN Code “77777 ", a user would dial the sequence 78 + 77777 + 5551212.

Yes. Tracking of outside line usage by an individual's Audit PIN Code can be monitored in Call Detail Records Reports via Reports > Call Detail Reports.
| What usage limitations should I be aware of when using this feature? |
- Can be used on analog phone service connected to 6X, 10X and 24X servers.
- Can be used on digital line service (T1) of the 24X servers.
- Can not be used on site-to-site calls between 6X, 10X and 24X servers.
- Can not be used on SIP expansion lines or proxy services (will no longer be the case with 6.8)
